You’ll stay at the luxurious Oberoi New Delhi, which embraces all of India’s beauty and tradition while offering respite from Delhi’s frantic pace.

Leave the big city behind as you’re transferred to Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognised for its beautiful Hindu and Jain temples. In the afternoon, go on to Panna National Park, where you can relax in preparation for your tiger safari. A game drive takes you through the Park’s tropical forests to see sloths, leopards, sambar, wild boar, and if you’re very lucky, elusive tigers. Spend your downtime taking a guided bird-spotting walk, or relaxing in your lodge’s infinity pool.

In case you did miss the big cats, you’ll get another chance to see them at Bandhavgarh National Park. Enjoy a traditional Indian breakfast on your morning game drive. Then, while the animals are sleeping away their afternoon, recharge with an invigorating massage or leisurely walk along the jungle paths. More delicious local cuisine awaits you for dinner each day.

A late afternoon flight from Jabalpur returns you to Delhi on your final day.
